DAK Wave Files for Interactive Knitting

Let Tricia tell you how to knit!  These are Tricia's wave files for the interactive knitting mode in DAK.  These files will replace the default wave files that came with DAK.  The wave files are the files for the verbal instructions in the interactive knitting mode.  When the verbal instructions are turned on, Tricia will tell you how to knit the project.

How to Download & Install

1. Right click on the below link to get the Tricia's Wave Files.  Select to save link to your computer.  Remember where the file is saved.

2. The files are compressed.  They need to be uncompressed with WinZip or double click on the file.  Computers with Windows XP should be able to double click on the folder to uncompress it.

3. Extract all files to the Dk7 folder on your computer.  Here's the step by step instructions for Windows XP.

* Double click on compressed folder. 

* Click on "Extract all files" in the leeft column.

* A wizard will pop up.  Click on "Next" button.

* Click on "Browse" button to change the loaction to the following:
My Computer
Local Disk C:
DK7
(Note this could be different if DAK wasn't installed in the default location)

* Click "Next" button to extract.  Choose to overwrite if asked.

* Click "Finish" button. 

4. Test files in DAK.  Open DAK to the Interactive Knitting Mode.  Open a stitch pattern of a shape file.  Press the space bar to move up a row.
